Sorry, I should have mentioned this in yesterdays post, but you can now gift Microsoft Points to other users. However you must know the recipients Windows Live Hotmail email address and live in the United States to use this feature. I haven't used this yet (I live in New Zealand) however apparently it is possible to use Microsoft Points not only for use on the Xbox Live Marketplace, but also on the Zune Marketplace!
