Very little news has been splashed around in the past 24 hours in the world of the Xbox 360. However, I did manage to stumble upon some interesting news, not directly linked to the Xbox 360.
Trend Micro has launched anti-virus software for the Playstation 3, the free download (only until April 2008) has many features such as blocking of malicious web pages on the consoles in-built internet browser, as well as parental controls, which can filter out innapropriate content. Also a study conducted by Nemertes Research shows that "Consumer demand for bandwidth could see the internet running out of capacity as early as 2010."
They predict "A drastic slowdown as the network struggles to cope with the amount of data being carried on it." Now guys, stop downloading those HD movies on the Xbox Live Marketplace, or on the other hand, go on a download spree, make the most of the time you have!
